Mechatronic Development Engineer
We are hiring a Mechatronic Development Engineer for our customer, a global technology company suppling systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology, enabling the next generation of mobility. Our customer offers comprehensive product and software solutions for established vehicle manufacturers and newly emerging transport and mobility service providers. They electrify a wide range of vehicle types. With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate and enhancing safe mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Interdisciplinary cooperation with specialist departments and experts (systems, prototyping, production)
- Responsible for 3D Design, drawings, BOMs according to product and component requirements calculations, simulations, tolerance stacks
- Create, maintenance and release of necessary mechatronic development documents
- Proof of requirements fulfilment of proposed design
- Plausibility check (installation space, distance, wall thickness, conformity of data)
- Cooperation with purchasing department (Technical work books, Supplier Conventions)
- Support problem resolution management (analyse/ evaluate samples)
- Ensuring of function-securing measures (simulations, FMEAs, FEM calculations)
Required skills/ expertise:
- Final degree preferably in electrical engineering, physics, mechatronics or similar fields
- Advanced knowledge in automotive mechatronics design more than 4 years
- Systematic, analytical and target oriented way of working
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team
- Fluent written and spoken English, German knowledge is helpful
