Mechatronic Development Engineer
We are hiring a Functional Safety Engineer for our customer, a global technology company suppling systems for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology, enabling the next generation of mobility. Our customer offers comprehensive product and software solutions for established vehicle manufacturers and newly emerging transport and mobility service providers. They electrify a wide range of vehicle types. With its products, the company contributes to reducing emissions, protecting the climate and enhancing safe mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Development of safety and monitoring functionsfor electric traction drives
- Analysis of system requirements and derivation of the function and software requirements
- Simulation of functions and components in the vehicle drive train
- Execution and support oftesting, calibration on test benches and in the vehicle
- Close cooperation and steady alignment with the parallel development team in Germany
Required skills/ expertise:
- Final degree preferably in engineering, computer science, mechatronics, or similar fields
- Hand on experience in Automotive function development
- Knowledge on overall system level for electric drives and power electronics
- Knowledge in functional safety (ISO26262) desired
- Good communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team, fluent written and spoken English required, German knowledge is helpful
